I've been a fan of Yelena Bryksenkova for some time now so it's a pleasure to feature her gorgeous work on my blog today!
Yelena is Russian born, grew up in Ohio, studied illustration in Maryland and now calls Brooklyn, New York, home. She lists dashing historical men, russian ballet, silent cinema, fancy urns, elephants and mysterious circumstances among her favourite things. And with a list of inspirations like that it's no wonder I love Yelena's artwork so much!
If you want to check out more of Yelena you can visit her website, Etsy store or her very cool blog which is full of fabulous drawings, photos and interesting ideas!
Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday wherever you are!

Ooooh! I love this!! I wish I drew better. I feel like I don't really have an illustration style of my own yet, but probably because I rarely do it. I am taking a year of pen/ink illustration classes this coming school year though, so I'm sure that'll change. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! I especially love the first, reminds me of my life with my super demanding yet adorable cat :)
