On my mind this week....
I am just mildly obsessed with tiny houses and eco-structures so I absolutely fell in love with this amazing photo. Staying in a Yurt in Mongolia is definitely going on the bucket list.
I saw a blog post entitled 10 Awesome Bookstores Repurposed From Unused Structures. Talk about a headline! How could anyone seriously pass that by... and so I clicked. If you're a bookstore lover like me, you should really take a look at them all, but here's a couple of particularly grand ones that I simply adore - can you imagine shopping for books here? I mean, seriously. I would never want to leave.
Have any of you seen that documentary about this guy? Man on Wire - a great true story about this guy above, Phillippe Petit, who illegally walked a tightrope between the Twin Towers in New York in 1974. Incredible! (As an aside, he performed at Pablo Picasso's 90th birthday back in 1971. How cool is that?)
I love the colours in this print by Jing Wei.
I love maps! And so of course I loved this blog post about map craft.... some fun ideas here - will be on the look out for old maps next time I'm at the tip shop!
Have an amazing and creative weekend! Jen x

They missed out the book store in the Margate Train!
ReplyDeleteI blogged ages ago about a place called Barter Books which is near me and, I think, one of the best ever bookstores but I think that one would be a real contender!
